The shadows are long at the start of day
when the earth moves to greet the sun once more.
At the edge of the night filled with dreams and desire
the rays of the sun strike through
and light up the earth
and shine through the leaves
and shoot past the trees.
The shadows are long when day first begins.
By noon they will be gone.
Beautiful, Christine.
Thanks for stopping by, Beth Ann.
this is lovely. I was noticing the same thing this morning, reflected on the pond!
I’ll bet that was really nice.
Interesting thoughts on shadows. Life appears to be springing forth in your area.
Yes. The woods are getting green right before my eyes. I love it. Although today is very gray and we have a steady fall of rain.
The rain is supposed to get here Friday. Might be a good day to sleep in!
Beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by Robin.
What beautiful digital photos! Lovely!
Beautiful. And hope-filled. Thanks.
Yes. You got it.
Lovely photo’s Christine, and the Spring Sun has at last cast a few shadows here too today, which is nice..
Wishing you a beautiful day and may all your shadows depart in the brightest of Sunlight..
Love and Hugs
Sue
Good point. You can’t have any shadows at all without the sun. Thanks for the good wishes. Take care, Sue.
Beautiful! Both photos and words to go with.
Thanks Renee.
Lovely shots, Christine.
We’re still awhile before it starts looking like that in this area…
