The Indie Book Blowout is an event where participating authors have reduced the price of their ebooks on Kindle to 99¢. The event runs from today, December 12th until the 24th at  http://indiebookblowout.com .

There will also be PRIZES (a brand new Kindle and $100 in Gift Cards).

I signed up for this Indie Book Blowout last month. It cost me $50 to have my book featured. I thought it might be a way to get my book a little more exposure. For this event Dancing in Heaven for Kindle is selling for 99cents instead of $2.99. So if you were planning on buying it for your Kindle, the next 12 days would be a good time to do it.

I don’t have a lot of high expectations for the effect this promotional event will have on sales. I would have to sell nearly 150 copies at this price to make back the $50 I invested in being in the promotion. But I thought I would give it a try.
